As for Cory Booker, I couldn't be prouder of my senator. He got attention, the good kind, and captured a lot of people who don't consume traditional media and don't follow politics too closely. My son (21, senior at Pitt, admittedly up on politics) texted me that he had the livestream on all day. And 350 million likes on his TikTok live? Let's just say Chuck Schumer couldn't get those numbers, even if he were less cringe.
